Tanya Bhattacharjee Shines as 2nd Runner-Up in India’s First Open Water Kids Triathlon

Pune, 09 January 2024 – Tanya Bhattacharjee from Pune has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the 2nd runner-up position in the Junior Kids category during India’s first-ever Open Water Kids Triathlon. The event, organized by the Endurance Athlete Association (EAA), took place at Andhra Dam, Takwe, near Pune.

The triathlon, held on January 4, witnessed an enthusiastic response from Pune residents. Young athletes from across the state competed in this unique event, which combined swimming, cycling, and running in an open-water setting, a first of its kind for India.
