Telangana MLA Lasya Nandita Passes Away in Fatal Car Crash
Hyderabad, 23rd February 2024: MLA Lasya Nandita lost her life in a fatal road accident in Hyderabad today. The 37-year-old, a first-time MLA, sustained grave injuries when her vehicle spiraled out of control, colliding with a road divider.
Swiftly rushed to the hospital, Lasya Nandita succumbed to her injuries, marking a somber end to her promising political career. The driver involved in the tragic crash is reported to be in critical condition, currently undergoing intensive medical care.
This devastating incident follows closely on the heels of another mishap just ten days ago, where Lasya miraculously survived with minor injuries in Narkatpally. On February 13, en route to a rally in Nalgonda, an accident unfolded, leading to the unfortunate demise of her home guard.
A significant figure in politics, Lasya Nandita had previously served as a corporator in Kavadiguda since 2016 before ascending to the role of MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment in the 2023 Telangana assembly elections.
