Tempo Crash on Pune-Kolad Highway Ramp Leaves Doctor Critical, Six Others Injured

Pirangut (Mulshi), 21st : An accident occurred at Pirangut Ghat yesterday afternoon around 1 o’clock, leaving seven people injured. The collision involved a tempo, driven by Govind Bhalchandra Lal, which collided with five two-wheelers and one four-wheeler on the ramp of the Pune-Kolad highway.

The victims of this tragic incident include seven individuals who sustained injuries. Among the injured is a doctor in critical condition, who has been rushed to a private hospital in Pune for immediate medical attention. The remaining six injured individuals were transported to private hospitals in Pirangut and Lavale Phata.

A case has been registered against the tempo driver, Govind Bhalchandra Lal, at the Paud police station. The collision has raised concerns about road safety on the Pirangut Ghat section of the Pune-Kolad highway, prompting authorities to investigate the circumstances leading to this incident.
