The Barkhana launches in the city of foodies
Pune, 5th January 2019 – The party goers of Pune have found a new reason to celebrate in the form of an exclusive party lounge, The Barkhana, located at The Address Commercia in Wakad, on the Balewadi highway. Launched on 4th January in Wakad, the fancy chic lounge opened its doors with all its fanfare. The music played at the launch was groovy, featuring a mix of popular Bollywood and classics.
The layout of the main room has cosy nooks within the large space and the ability to sneak away through secluded doors into completely new spaces makes this newbie a venue that can be explored and enjoyed on a variety of levels. To top it all, the familiar popcorn machine at the bar, high-tables with high chairs and the mellow lights make the ambience chick.
According to Deepak Singh, the owner of the club, his priority is to ensure that the guests enjoy their time to the fullest there. In his words, “it is an immense pleasure to host guests in the city of food lovers. We intend to remain the home for those who want to party and dine with no compromises in terms of comfort, class and service. Also, we will be experimenting a bit on the music side, by adding classic rock and live gigs to our list in the near future as it would suit the ambience.”
In the menu, they have covered all their bases by offering a trendy mix of traditional Indian, modern Indian, fusion Indian, and a sprinkling of world cuisine.
