The biggest show for Amusement, Theme Park & IAC Industry in South East Asia to be held in Mumbai : IAAPI’s 19th“Amusement Expo 2019”
28 Feb 2019, IAAPI’s 19th “Amusement Expo” which is the biggest B2B exhibition on sourcing for amusement and theme park industry in south east asia will be held from 6-8 March, 2019 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East), Mumbai / India.
The exhibition is supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, under its banner of “Incredible India” and Madhya Pradesh Tourism at Partner state. The expo will witness a huge gathering of over 142 exhibitors from India & 20 countries, spread across an area of 10,000 sq. meters. Participating Countries are from Bulgaria, Canada, China, Dubai- UAE, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, The Netherlands, Turkey, UK, USA and India
The exhibitors will display Rides, Equipment and services for Amusement Park, Theme Park, Water Park, Adventure Park and Indoor Amusement centers. The exhibition will attract over 4000 trade professional comprising of decision makers from amusement industry, Park and IAC operators, Hotel & Resorts, Real Estate, Mall Developer, players operating in Tourism & entertainment space, Sports Bar, Cafes, Museums and Science Centres, Government officials from Tourism Development Board, PWD, Town Planning, Municipal and Local Body over the period of three days.
Mr.Pradeep Sharma, President – Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI), said, “The exhibition will provide and ideal platform to source rides, attractions and multiple recreational and entertainment options which will help in boosting tourism, increase room occupancy. Increase in tourism will generate employment (skilled and unskilled) and will also support in growing other business like restaurants, transportation, retail and local handicrafts.
The exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to network with the industry leaders during the expo and at the concurrent events and explore sourcing of new rides and attractions, identify potential dealers, understand various business models and formats that can be created when setting up an amusement park and entertainment zone which today is an important part of the social infrastructure for society welfare, primarily for kids, youth with their families.
The Indian Amusement & Theme Park industry is expected to grow at CAGR of more than 30% with the annual revenue of around INR 2261 Cr (US $ 315 million) in 2018 and is estimated to grow to at least INR 6250 Cr (US $ 884 million) by 2022.
