THE ONLY IMAGE I HAVE OF MY MOM IS IN A SAREE: SHAH RUKH KHAN
The Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan has always been very expressive about his love for his parents. Be it while receiving an award or in an interview, King Khan is always seen remembering his parents and thanking them for everything that he has achieved.
Recently, while shooting shooting for TED Talks India Nayi Soch, Shahrukh met an inspiring speaker Anju Kadam who is the founder of an organization called ‘100 Saree Pact’. The organization weaves stories of triumph and tribute through the medium of sarees.
Recollecting a memory from the past, after the talk by Anju Kadam, Shahrukh shared with the audience that, “The only image I have of my mom is in a saree.” After getting emotional about the memory of his mother, Shahrukh also presented a saree to Anju Kadam as a goodwill gesture.
