Theft At Pune Shambhu Mahadev Temple, Three Minors In Custody

Fursungi, 23rd October 2022: The Hadapsar police have succeeded in busting the theft from Shambhu Mahadev temple, the village deity of Fursungi village. The thieves have admitted to stealing for fun. Three juvenile thieves were detained while tattooing a picture of the criminal on their chest in an inn.

 

 

 

Thieves broke the donation box inside the Shambhu Mahadev temple and stole the cash. The CCTV footage of the temple shows three people picking up the donation box from the temple and carrying it aside. The police team started tracking the thieves through CCTV.

 

 

 

Police constables Prashant Dudhaal and Nikhil Pawar got information about the juvenile thieves in the MG Road area. Accordingly, the team laid a trap and detained the three. During interrogation, they confessed to the crime, and Rs 22,500 have been seized from them. To steal from the temple, minor thieves had stolen a two-wheeler from Hadapsar Gavthan Ram Mandir. After the theft in the temple, the stolen bike was again parked at the same place. Before the theft, they went to the Shambhu Mahadev temple and took pictures of the entire area and did recce.

 

 

 

All three minors were detained while tattooing the photo of notorious criminal Rahul Singh Bhond on their chest and arm. Theft cases have been registered against them.

 

 

 

The investigation was done under the supervision of Additional Commissioner Namdev Chavan, Deputy Commissioner of Police Namrata Patil, ACP Bajrang Desai by team comprising Senior Police Inspector Arvind Gokule, Police Sub-Inspector Avinash Shinde and Sameer Pandule, Prashant Dudhal, Nikhil Pawar, Suraj Kumhar.
