New Delhi, 7th April 2024: In a humorous conversation with popular comedian Kapil Sharma, Indian captain Rohit Sharma mentioned the names of two teammates with whom he would never share a room. Rohit and Shreyas Iyer appeared as guests on Netflix’s “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” where they answered Kapil Sharma’s questions. In a similar conversation with Kapil, Rohit jokingly said that he would never share a room with Punjab Kings (PBKS) Captain Shikhar Dhawan and Delhi Captials (DC) Captain Rishabh Pant, whom he jokingly referred to as “dirty.” Rohit shared the locker room with both Dhawan and Pant during his time in the Indian team.

During a special segment while talking to Kapil, Rohit jokingly said that he would never share a room with Dhawan and Pant, stating that they are dirty and do not clean their room for three or four days. Currently, Rohit is playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and will lead India in the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA thereafter.

Rohit Sharma said, “These days, everyone gets their own room but if I ever have to share a room, there are two people I wouldn’t want to share it with – Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. They are really messy. After practice, they just throw their clothes on the bed.” Rohit further added, “Their room is always on Do Not Disturb (DND) mode because they sleep until 1 PM. The housekeeping staff comes in the morning to clean their rooms, so it’s important for them to keep their rooms on DND. Otherwise, they’ll barge in, so their rooms remain messy for three to four days. So, I don’t think I’d be able to stay with them.”
