Thousands Join Youth Congress Rally in Pune Ward 21, Highlighting Youth Power and Change

Salisbury Park, 12th January 2026: Ward 21 of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) witnessed an unprecedented surge of youth enthusiasm as thousands of young participants took part in a grand bike rally organized in support of Congress candidates Akshay Anilkumar Jain, Dr. Snehal Padale, Yogita Surana, and Pushkar Abnave. The event, conducted under the leadership of the Congress Party and Indian Youth Congress, sent a strong message of change, activism, and positive politics throughout the ward.

The rally saw the prominent presence of Uday Bhanu Chib, National President of the Indian Youth Congress, alongside former minister Vishwajit Kadam, Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress President Shivraj More, and National General Secretary Ajay Chikara. Their attendance highlighted the significance of the event.

Key local leaders and office-bearers, including Abhay Chhajed, Navjyot Sandhu, Tariq Bagwan, Aamir Sheikh, Chandu Mane, Yuvraj Shah, and Saurabh Amrale, also participated, reflecting widespread grassroots support.

During the rally, youth voiced concerns over education, employment, inflation, social justice, and the protection of democratic values, promoting the message: “Youth Voice – The Beginning of Change.” Citizens along the route enthusiastically welcomed the rally, showcasing visible public support for Congress and Youth Congress in Ward 21.

Addressing the gathering, Uday Bhanu Chib said, “The energy of youth visible in Ward 21 today is a harbinger of change in the country. Congress candidates are not just contesting elections; they are warriors on the ground representing the concerns of youth, students, and ordinary citizens. With such leadership, Ward 21 is poised to become a model ward for development.”

Former minister Vishwajit Kadam added, “It is heartening to see thousands of youth taking to the streets and promoting positive politics. Considering the work, dedication, and connection with people shown by Akshay Jain and his fellow candidates, change in Ward 21 is inevitable. The faith of youth is the real strength of the Congress Party.”

Shivraj More, Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress President, said, “The unity displayed by youth in Ward 21 today is not just about elections; it marks the beginning of the fight against injustice, unemployment, and inflation.
