Today 5 more Coronavirus curred patients discharged in Pimpri-Chinchwad, 8 out of total 12 cured

Pimpri, March 29, 2020: Here is a good news. Today five more patients were discharged after they were successfully treated of Coronavirus.

They are among the 12 persons found Coronavirus positive under Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limit. Since last six days, no new case has been detected in PCMC limit.

With five more today, the total number of people discharged is eight now. They were detected positive on March 14. After two weeks of treatment, their tests were conducted again and they have been found negative twice. Hence, they were discharged. However, they have to stay home quarantined for next 14 days.

Meanwhile, the total number of positive cases in Pune district which includes three members of a family, has increased to 36. Of this 15 have been treated and discharged from hospital.

20 are from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) jurisdiction and 12 are from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) limit and four from Pune rural areas. The first case in Pune was detected on March 9.

To prevent the spread of Coronavirus, nationwide lockdown has been imposed. People are not allowed to gather and vehicle movement is also restricted except those engaged in essential services.

The total cases in Maharashtra have reached 181, after 28 new patients found positive yesterday. Till now, a total of 26 patients have recovered/discharged across the state.
