Traffic Congestion a Key Issue as Ramesh Bagwe Seeks Voter Backing in Pune Cantonment Constituency

Camp, 8th November 2024: Traffic congestion in the Cantonment Assembly Constituency has become a major challenge, with residents enduring daily gridlocks that have worsened over the past decade. Congress candidate Ramesh Bagwe, representing the Mahavikas Aghadi, India Front, and allied parties, urged voters to support his campaign, pledging to address these pressing issues.
Bagwe’s rally included a walk-through in areas such as Ghorpadi, BT Kawade Road, Daruwala Bridge, and Somwar Peth, where he engaged with locals to discuss their concerns.
During his address, Bagwe criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which holds power at both the central and state levels, for failing to address the traffic problems affecting Ghorpadi residents.
Joining Bagwe were several key figures, including Lok Sabha In-Charge Jagdish Thakur and Cantonment In-Charge Rajendra Singh Thakore, along with Congress Block President Asif Sheikh. Other prominent leaders and activists in attendance included Sudhakar Panicker, Sanjay Kawade, Pradeep Pardeshi, Abhijit Gaikwad, Nitin Nigade, Akram Sheikh, Yusuf Sheikh, Robert Robario, Mahesh Mishra, Anirudha Mishra, Prem Pardeshi, Manoj Battam, Tejas Garsul, Amol Pardeshi, Sanjay Waghmare, Ravi Bajpayee, Raju Naidu, Kumar Rathod, Prakash Barge, Madis Rowdon, Wilson Redda, Wilson Daniel, Darius Swamy, Rihana Khan, Antony, and Anjali Pillay, representing the Mahavikas Aghadi, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP – Sharad Pawar Group), Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray Party), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and various social organizations.
