Traffic Diversion On Baner Road For 4 Days Due To Pune Metro Work, Check Diversion Routes
Baner, 10th August 2023: Ongoing construction for the Pune Metro project has necessitated changes in traffic routes on Baner Road. A crucial phase of this construction involves the portal beam launching work, which is scheduled to take place between the Green Park Hotel Junction on Baner Road and Pallod Farm Road.
In light of this development, it is imperative to ensure smooth traffic flow on Baner Road while executing the aforementioned construction work.
DCP (Traffic Branch) Vijay Kumar Magar has announced the following alterations to the traffic movement between Pune University and Baner Road on the specified dates: from 00.01 hours on August 12, 2023, to 24.00 hours on August 15, 2023.
Traffic adjustments are as follows: Traffic flow from Hotel Greenpark Junction to Mahabaleshwar Hotel on Baner Road will be temporarily halted.
Alternative routes:
a. Motorists traveling from Pune University Chowk to Abhimanshree Junction en route to Baner are advised to make a right turn at Baner Phata Chowk and continue towards ITI. From there, proceed through Parihar Chowk and take a left turn at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk. Follow Nagras Road, which will lead to Baner Road near Mahabaleshwar Hotel.
b. For those departing from Green Park Hotel Chowk, take a left turn through Someshwar Mandir. After crossing the bridge over Ramnadi, turn right and pass by the passport office, eventually leading to Baner Road.
