Trump’s Big Action Of Firing 2000 USAID Employees

New Delhi, 24th February 2025: The Trump administration is making major decisions after a comeback at the White House. The government has laid off 2000 employees in USAID, the United States Agency of International Development.
Trump administration fired 2000 employees of USAID and at the same time, thousands of people have been sent on leave. However, employees who have been considered necessary are excluded from this. Only employees who are engaged in mission-based urgent work have been hired. US District Judge Carl Nichols rejected the employees’ petition to temporarily block the Trump administration order.
Trump strongly calls this a waste of money. The Trump administration has already shut down USAID’s Washington-based facility. Indeed, President Trump and the head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk said that the funding of USAID’s foreign assistance and development work is a waste of money.
DOGE is constantly making bigger disclosures about the United States Agency for International Development that funding was being done by USAID to influence the Indian election. It is being claimed that USD 21 million was being given by USAID to improve the voting percentage in India and USD 29 million to strengthen the political climate in Bangladesh. The Trump administration has banned funding to India and Bangladesh.
A few days ago, President Trump took a dig at the previous Biden administration, saying that it had allocated $ 18 million to help India in its election when it did not need it. Trump said that India takes advantage of us. It is one of the countries with the highest tariffs in the world and also criticized the funding for Bangladesh.
Elon Musk and President Trump are seen stealing the headlines with their specific and terrific decisions every other day since the presidential election’s result.
