TSG Hotels & Resorts Leads Beach Clean-Up Drive in Andaman
Port Blair, 17th April 2025: In a bid to promote environmental responsibility and marine conservation, TSG Hotels & Resorts recently organized a beach clean-up drive at Marina Park Seashore in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The initiative resulted in the removal of nearly 140 kg of plastic waste and other litter from the beach.
Employees from TSG Emerald View Hotel and TSG Grand Hotel took part in the effort, dedicating over an hour to collecting plastic bottles, wrappers, and other debris scattered along the shoreline. The clean-up not only enhanced the beach’s appearance but also contributed to reducing environmental harm to marine life.
As part of the outreach, staff members also interacted with locals, highlighting the urgent need to protect coastal ecosystems and reduce plastic pollution.
The initiative reflects TSG Hotels & Resorts’ ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism. The group’s Managing Director, TSG Bhasker, and Corporate General Manager, Chiranjit Das, joined the team on-site to support and motivate the participants.
