Two Hundred and Ninety Sixth Company to get listed on BSE SME Platform

Mumbai, May 08, 2019: SEBI came out with detailed guidelines on 18th May, 2010 for launching of SME Exchange/Platform. BSE became the first stock exchange to get the approval from SEBI and launch its SME platform on 13th March, 2012.

G.K.P Printing and Packaging Limited became 296th company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform on May 08, 2019. G.K.P Printing and Packaging Limited came out with an initial public offering of 26,56,000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- Each (“Equity Shares”) For Cash At a Price Of Rs.32/- Per Equity Share (The “Offer Price”), Aggregating to Rs. ’657.92’ lacs. The company has successfully completed its public issue on April 26, 2019.

G.K.P Printing and Packaging Limited is a Maharashtra based company whose registered office is at Vasai. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing of corrugated boxes. The company deals in various types of corrugated boxes such as master cartons, mono cartons, Honey comb partition boxes, Die cut self-locking boxes, storage bins, adjustable depth book flap, Ring flap boxes and unit cartons. The company is also engaged in the trading of Kraft paper, Duplex paper and Low – Density Plastic Rolls (LD Rolls).

Jaipur based Holani Consultants Private Limited was the lead managers for G.K.P printing and Packaging Limited.

 

The 296 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs. 3055.64 crores from the market and total market capitalization of 296 companies as on May 08, 2019 is 17,976.53 Crores. BSE is the market leader in this segment with a market share of 60.16 percent.

 

The response since the launch of this platform by BSE has been very positive.
