Two policemen martyred in Srinagar, militants fled after indiscriminate firing

Srinagar, February 19, 2021: In the Barzulla area of Srinagar, militants opened fire on policemen, in which two Jammu and Kashmir personnel have been killed. Since the incident, the area has been completely cordoned off and the search for the terrorists has begun.

The policemen injured in the terror attack were rushed to the hospital for treatment, but their lives could not be saved. As per reports and witness accounts, the terrorists came out of a street, attacked the police, and escaped.

The incident of this attack on police occurred after a two-day visit of 24 diplomats from 20 countries. It is believed that the attackers triggered this incident to achieve international recognition through this inhumane atrocity.

The attackers fired indiscriminately at the officers from a close range and escaped. Such firing in a bustling market created a sense of fear all through Srinagar and immediately, security forces were sent. The surrounding areas are being combed thoroughly in search of the attackers. The injured policemen were rushed to the hospital, but not one survived. One of the martyred soldiers is Constable Sohail.

In the last three days, this counts as the second attack on Jammu and Kashmir. On Wednesday, the attackers killed the son of a restaurant owner. A video of the attack on the police has gone viral, in which the terrorists are seen fleeing the scene after firing at the officers, but the authenticity of this video cannot be confirmed.
