UGC NET December Result: Short Wait Ahead, Expected to Be Released Soon
New Delhi, 21st February 2025: Candidates who have given UGC NET December 2024 won’t have to wait much longer as according to the reports results could be released by the end of this week. While the NTA (National Testing Agency) has not made an official announcement yet, media reports citing sources indicate that the results are expected soon.

Steps to Check UGC NET December 2024 Result
The first step is to visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Once on homepage, click on the available ‘UGC NET December 2024 December Scorecard Download’ link.
Enter your appropriate login credentials i.e. your Application Number and Birth Date.
Submit the details to view and download your result.
Your UGC NET December 2024 result will be displayed. Check and save it for future reference.
UGC NET December Result 2024-25: The exam was held from 3 to 27 January
UGC NET December exam was conducted from 3 to 27 January.
The last paper of the exam was held on 27 January 2025.
According to a report, more than 6 lakh candidates appeared in this exam.
The provisional answer key was released on 31 January.
Candidates were given a chance to register a challenge till 3 February 2025.
Now, the result of the exam is awaited.
Along with the exam result, the final answer key will also be released by NTA.
UGC NET December Result 2024: 11,21,225 candidates had registered for the June session
A total of 11,21,225 candidates had registered for the UGC NET June 2024 exam. According to a report, 6,35,587 female students had registered for the exam, while the number of men was 4,85,579 and 59 third gender candidates had applied for this exam. In this way, a total of 9,08,580 candidates (81 percent) appeared in the examination.
