UKM Kothrud FC, Rising Pune win at Late Vinayak Memorial Trophy 7-a-side football tournament
Pune, August 8, 2023: UKM Kothrud FC and Rising Pune emerged winners in the under 13 and 15 group respectively at the Late Vinayak Memorial Trophy 7-a-side football tournament which is being organized by by Sunny Sports Kingdom, Someshwar Foundation and Kreeda Jagruti and played at Sunny’s World, Pashan Sus Road.
In the under 13 group finals, Rishabh Kanoje(4min.), Karthikeya Reddy(16min.) helped UKM Kothrud FC to a 2-0 victory over SPJ Club which saw them crowned winners.
In the under 15 group finals, Rising Pune beat in tiebreaker to scored a 3-2 win over SPJ Club to lift the title. Rishit Das, Aarav Sancheti, Vihaan Ghanekar are the goal scorer for Rising Pune
The winner team got trophy and attractive prizes. The prizes were given away at the hands of Madhura Nimhan, Chatrapati Award winner Mr.Vijay Jadhav, Mr.Pratap Jadhav, Chairman of Kreeda Jagruti and Mr.Abhijit Mohite, Joint Secretary of Maharashtra Carrom Association, Mr. Brij Singh were present on the occasion.
