Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav expelled from Samajwadi Party

Lucknow – In a major decision before the upcoming assembly elections, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday expelled his son and UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav from the party for six years.

The decision comes a day after both Mulayam and Akhilesh declared separate list of candidates for the elections.

Mulayam also removed his brother from the party.
