Vandalism in Wagholi: Miscreants Damage 13 Vehicles in Stone-Pelting Spree

Wagholi, 8th March 2025: In a shocking incident, unidentified individuals vandalized 13 vehicles by pelting stones at them across five areas in Wagholi on Friday (March 7) morning. The damage caused is estimated to be around ₹1.61 lakh. A case has been registered at the Wagholi police station.

Laxman Prabhakar Ovale (36), a resident of Dubey Nagar, Wagholi, has filed a complaint regarding the incident. According to the police, the miscreants targeted cars parked in Dubey Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Avhalwadi, the Raisoni College area, and S.T. Colony in Wagholi.

Upon receiving information, Assistant Police Commissioner Pranjali Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad, Assistant Police Inspector Vinayak Ahire, and Police Sub-Inspectors Vaijinath Kedar and Manoj Bagal visited the affected sites for inspection. The Wagholi police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the culprits.
