Veteran Artist Ravi Paranjape to exhibit ‘Calendar Artworks’
Pune, 7th December 2017: Ravi Paranjape, A great painter of national and international repute, is holding a unique exhibition-‘Calendar Artworks’. It will feature some extraordinary creative paintings by Paranjpe drawn for different New Year Calendars. The exhibition will be exhibited between December 8 and 14 from 11 am to 7 pm at Ravi Paranjape Studio Art Gallery in Model Coloney.
In this exhibition, paintings from 1960 to 1990 will be on display. These paintings cover a gamut of subjects ranging from Indian art, folk dance, rural life, mythological and historical characters, poems and dramas from classical Sanskrit and Urdu literature, Indian festivals as well as flora and fauna diversity
Paranjape’s unique style of involving a variety of techniques which include colors that bring out the essence of paintings. It will be of immense value to art students and prove to be a visual treat for art connoisseurs.
On the eve of exhibition, a New Year Calendar of 2018 in different formats, with prints of selected paintings by Paranjpe, will be available for purchase.
