VIIT’s annual Vishwaprenur 2016 convention being held on 9th & 10th Janaury 2016
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT) , will be holding their annual convention Vishwapreneur 2016 on 9th & 10 January 2016 at the Sharad Arena, VIT Auditorium.
Incepted in 2013, Vishwapreneur continues to provide a platform for interaction and networking, graced by entrepreneurs and students alike. Packed with interactive sessions by renowned entrepreneurs from every field of engineering, as well as activities and competitions which promote entrepreneurial qualities.
Vishwapreneur 2016 will have veteran entrepreneurs and pioneers like Dr. Anil Lamba, Financial Literacy Activist, Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, CEO, Zensar Tech, Mr. Nandkishore Attal, CEO, Shubhi Ghee, Mr. Vishal Agarwal, MD, Bavaria Motors, as guest speakers.
EDC, VIIT is a student organization founded in 2008. It is the only e-cell in Pune to receive AICTE- Delhi recognition and they provide budding entrepreneurs with an incubation centre giving them a platform to evolve their business.
The cell’s flagship event, Vishwapreneur, is a national level entrepreneurial summit which has given over 1500 participants an opportunity to interact on a personal level with over 20 business tycoons, resulting in many success stories.
The purpose of Vishwapreneur is to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and provide inspiration to participants through guest speakers. The guest list over the years has included notable entrepreneurs and visionaries like Mr. D.S.Kulkarni, MD, DSK Group of companies, Dr. Vitthal Kamat, Chairman, Kamat Group of Hotels, Mr. Mahesh Manjrekar, Founder, GME Productions, Mr. Hanumantrao Gaikwad, Chairman and MD, BVG Group.
Now, that the concept of startups is well known and many startups are a household name, the cell has decided that the participants need more than just inspiration and in doing so, have completely revamped the format of the Summit. This year the sessions will cover the entire journey of establishing a start-up, right from inception and b-plan to business strategies and development.
Engineering and non-engineering students from all over India, budding entrepreneurs, Mentors and many are the expected audience who will be attending the convention
