‘Walk With Pride’ A Fashion Walk Designed By Swawlambini Event To Be Held On 18th April In Pune

Pune, 10th March 2021: A fashion walk designed by Swawlambini Event is to be held on 18 April at 93 Avenue, Fatima Nagar, opposite Croma, Pune. Sunflow Swadesh will be participating in the walk and showcasing their collection with the help of the 7 to 8 models.

Sunflow Swadesh deals with a variety of extravagant Lucknowi Kurtis, Kashmiri Stoles, and juttis which are completely authentic. They also provide the uber-cool range of Indian Lucknowi Fusion and traditional Wear. Their endeavour is to uncover the lavish and extraordinary pieces of clothing that capture individual style angles.

In an interview with Punekar news, Sunflow Swadesh’s co-owner, Sarah Khan said, “We own the shop here at 93 Avenue for 3 years and have been running our business for 10 years. My partner Gayatri runs this business with me. We are trying to grow our business in handloom and traditional craftsmanship by selling all our products at nominal rates despite them being completely handmade and by authentic craftsmen in Lucknow which is later delivered to our stores for sale.

We give most of our income from the sale to the craftsmen as they are underpaid by other stores and franchises, Hence, we feel that we must pay them for all their work and therefore are in direct contact with the craftsmen and no third party is involved.”

Sarah shared her excitement regarding the upcoming Fashion walk and wished that it would highlight 93 Avenue and the area nearby.
