Wanowrie: Boy Dies In Road Accident, Another Injured

Pune, September 27, 2020: A young boy riding a two-wheeler died in an accident after colliding with an iron bar on the sidewalk. And a 17-year-old boy was injured. The incident took place on Shivarkar Road in Wanowrie.

The deceased has been identified as Ashutosh Sudhir Yadav (20) of New Modikhana, Camp. Piyush Bagis Jha (17) of Parmar Park, Wanowrie is injured. He is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

According to the police, the incident took place near Upsouth restaurant around 10 pm on September 22. As Yadav lost control on the two-wheeler due to speed his bike collided with another two-wheeler from behind. They then collided to an iron bar on the footpath. Two-wheeler rider Gautam Himani (44) of Wanowrie was also injured in the incident.

Yadav and Jha were critically injured and were admitted to the hospital. Yadav succumbed to injuries during treatment.
