Water crisis at Nirgudi Village resolves by MP Anil Shirole

Pune, November 20, 2018 : Despite having a river in the village, Nirgudi situated in Haveli taluka near Pune had to face persistent crisis of potable water. Villagers approached MP Anil Shirole with a request to look into the matter. Shirole followed it up with the authorities and now people of Nirgudi will get enough potable water provided by tankers daily.

A new water tank is built in the village for the storage of potable water. An event was organized by Nirgudi villagers to inaugurate this water tank at the hands of MP Shirole.

Shirole said, ‘‘When I heard from the villagers about water crisis I realized the severity of the problem and spoke to Pimpri Chinchwad Commissioner Shravan Hardikar. Now daily 4 tankers of potable waters will be diploid to the village and the water will be stored in the new water tank which is built by PCMC corporation with the help of villagers. It is good to see that the problem is resolved now.’’

Jagdish Mulik, MLA, Mahesh Landge, MLA, Anil Mohite, Ashwini Saste, Sarpanch, Charholi Khurd village, Nilesh Kadam,Upsarpanch, Nitin Kalje, Bapu Pathare, Yogesh Saswade, Hemlata Kalokhe, Santosh Patil, Pooja Kadam, Anil Bagare, Sheetal Kadam, Satyavan Kumbhar, Santosh Kadam, Kaushalya Rokde, Shweta Magar, Anil Kadam were present among the dignitaries.
