Wharton School and PropEquity announce first of its kind collaboration for Indian Realty Research

New Delhi, November 26, 2018:PropEquity, India’s largest real estate data, analytics and research firm and Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA have announced a knowledge partnership that focuses on the Indian real estate research. The school is widely regarded as one of the world’s top institutions for business education and U.S. News and World Report has repeatedly ranked Wharton’s real estate MBA program as the top in the United States.

Through the collaboration the team at Wharton and Propequity together aim to work on data, research and market intelligence forthe Indian real estate sector. A fundamental goal of the partnership will be to use the intelligence to study a variety of important topics such as price movements of residential projects along with their construction journey, impact of delays on demand & supply in micro markets, and the impact of recent reforms such as GST and RERA on supply, absorption & pricing.

This will be the first time that Wharton would be using data and analytics from an Indian firm to better understand, analyse and forecast trends in the Indian real estate sector.
