Will There Be Another Lockdown In Maharashtra? CM Uddhav Thackeray Says……..

Mumbai, February 17, 2021: The growing number of COVID19 patients in the state is a matter of concern. Will there be another lockdown? This question is bothering everyone. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that the people should decide whether they want lockdown or want to live freely with some restrictions.

Now Health Minister Rajesh Tope has given important information. “Lockdown will be the last resort,” he told the media.

“District collectors and municipal commissioners have been given full powers. They have been advised to take the necessary measures to control spread of corona at their level. Therefore, these measures will be taken where the number of patients is increasing. But lockdown will be the last resort”, said Tope.

He added, “Where there is a lot of crowd, it is important to test the corona consistently, to follow the rules more strictly.”
