Pune, 4th November 2025: Minimum temperatures across Pune city and district have remained fairly steady over the past three days, although several locations recorded a slight rise of 1–2°C on Thursday. Shivajinagar reported 12.9°C, while Haveli was the coldest at 11.5°C. Despite the marginal increase, cold conditions continue to prevail during nights and early mornings, with fog observed in multiple pockets.

Earlier in the week, temperatures had dropped close to 7°C in some parts of the district, briefly creating cold-wave-like conditions. After nearly 10 days of milder weather, the sudden dip revived the winter chill, leading many to expect a further plunge. However, the minimum temperatures have since climbed by 2–3°C, easing the intensity of the cold spell.

While temperatures have largely stabilised over the last 48 hours, foggy mornings, cloudy skies and slightly warmer days have moderated the chill. Nevertheless, cold winds and lingering cloud cover are ensuring that winter remains distinctly felt during late-night and early-morning hours, even as daytime heat turns more comfortable.
