With 4 new cases, Coronavirus Positive patients tally reaches 48 in PCMC areas

Pimpri, April 16, 2020: Four new Coronavirus positive patients have been detected in Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal corporation (PCMC) areas. Now the total number of cases has reached 48 out of which 12 have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while one person has died.

According to PCMC health officials, the four new patients are from Kharalwadi and Bhosari. Three of them are females while there is one 46-year-old male. The females are aged between 4 years to 29 years.

4. Gharkul, Chikhali
5. Gurudutta Colony, Bhosari
6. Kasarwadi
7. Kharalwadi
8. PMT Chowk, Bhosari
9. Thergaon

“KINDLY AVOID ENTRY INTO THESE ABOVE MENTIONED CONTAINMENT ZONES. Residents of these containment zones kindly stay indoors. In case if anyone has any medical complaints/symptoms kindly contact the SARATHI CONTROL ROOM – 8888006666”, PCMC municipal commissioner Shravan Hardikar has appealed to the people.

The number of Coronavirus positive patients in Pune district has reached about 450 out of which 41 persons have been cured till now. A total of 46 persons have succumbed to the deadly virus till now. The administration has appealed people to stay at home and maintain social distancing when they are going out to buy grocery or vegetables. Many areas in Pune city have been sealed as the number of positive cases has increased to over 380 now.
