Yerwada: Two COVID Positive Prisoners Escape From Jail
Pune, September 10, 2020: Two prisoners, who are Coronavirus disease (COVID19) positive, escaped from temporary prison near Yerwada Jail around Wednesday midnight. Pune City Police have appealed people to inform them if they find the two accused persons.
The accused persons have been identified as Anil Vitthal Vetal (21) of Ganesh Nagar in Bhima Koregaon, taluka-Shirur, and Vishal Ramdhan Kharat of Shri Samarth Housing Society in Nigdi. They had been arrested for rioting and attempt to murder.
