Yoga training should be considered a full-time job : Maharashtra Governor

Mumbai, 17th June, 2019: Yoga is India’s biggest gift to the whole world and humanity. Yoga has been proved a better option in balancing body, mind, and health. Governor C. Vidyasagar Rao appealed Indian Yoga trainers to use yoga skills and training and consider yoga as a full-time job opportunity. Governor C. Vidyasagar inaugurated 5th Yoga Protocol Training Camp at K.C. College. Mumbai University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Suhas Pedanekar, Hyderabad Sind National Collegiate Board Trustee Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Board Trustee, and Ex-President Anil Harish, Board President Kishu Mansukhani, Board Secretary Dinesh Panjwani, Administrator of Kaivalya Dham Subodh Tiwari, Principal of K.C. College Dr. Hemlata Bagla, professors, students, NSS students from the college were present for the programme in a large number. Governor Shri. Rao said, he is glad that the college is organizing various programmes on yoga and celebrating Yoga Day since the last five years.

Upcoming International Yoga Day will be celebrated enthusiastically in the biggest university of the state- Mumbai University.

Maximum students, yoga trainers, professors will participate in the celebration. Our gurus discovered yoga, mastered it, and used it for bettering human life; it is an honour to celebrate International Yoga Day in their respect. It is a pride for India that International Yoga Day on 21st June will not be celebrated in only India but also in New York, London, Beijing, Tokyo, South Africa, and other countries. Our modern lifestyle is very different. We all have to face stress due to irregular eating times, bad eating habits, work pressure, lack of sleep. Governor Shri. Rao expressed in his speech that we need to include yoga in our lifestyle to become stress-free. Yoga is not just another type of exercise but it has been proved that yoga helps in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I appeal to the citizens, especially youths that yoga is our tradition, and we should take the responsibility to preserve it.

Youth is India’s biggest strength today. India is currently known as the country having maximum youth population. India’s average population age will be 29 years old next year. That will be 8 years younger than in America and China. Governor Shri. Rao also mentioned that no one could stop India from being a superpower if the youth will have a healthy life, quality education, and skill-based employment opportunities.
