Young Man Attacked in Pune’s Kondhwa; 9 Arrested
Kondhwa, 12th July 2025: A 25-year-old man was attacked by known acquaintances in Pune’s Kondhwa area late Friday night. The incident occurred around 10 PM in the Gokul Nagar locality.
The victim was assaulted with a sharp weapon, sustaining injuries to his left hand and head. The exact motive behind the attack is yet to be determined.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 5) Rajkumar Shinde confirmed that nine individuals, including Kailas Gaikwad, Kaviraj Devkate, Anil Chavan, and their associates, have been arrested in connection with the case. A formal case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
The injured man is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable.
