Young minds from rural schools express their ‘Agenda for India’ in an event organized by PIC & Gyan Key

Pune, October 9, 2018 : The young minds from rural areas of Maharashtra and some other states too, came together to express their ideas about ‘Agenda for India in 2019-2024’. The event ‘Vichar Spardha’ was organized by Pune International Centre (PIC) in association with ‘Gyan Key’ where 18 brilliant students from rural schools got a chance to communicate their thoughts to the distinguished leaders from various fields.

These students were selected from an essay competition on the same topic where 39,125 essays from different parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka were received. Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, President, PIC, Milind Gunaji, renowned Actor, Pradeep Lokhande, Founder, Gyan Key, Prataprao Pawar, renowned Entrepreneur,  Prashant Girbane, Honorary Director, PIC were present among the dignitaries.

Milind Gunaji said that is great to work hard to fulfill your dreams, but along with that, it is very important for one to complete the education.

Mashelkar said, ‘‘To build a society based on wisdom, It is necessary to combine ideas with action. We must read and must try to find answers to the issues that we see around. I consider failure to be the first attempt in learning. So, the students should keep their goals high. Listening to these students, I believe that India has a great future and they have the capability to become the next Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam or C. V. Raman. ’’
