‘Rang Tarang’ enters in its second year
Pune, August 7 : ‘Rang Tarang’, a cultural and sports competition especially designed for the senior citizens of Pune is entering in its 2nd year. Presenting the 2nd edition of this competition, the Athashree Foundation and Association of Senior Citizens’ Organisations of Pune (ASCOP) are set to host multiple cultural and sports activities for senior citizens during Rang Tarang. The activities will include musical & dance performances, drama along with sports competitions like Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Pool and Bridge.
The entry for this competition is free for all Senior Citizens however, registration is mandatory to participate in it. The last date of registration is Tuesday, August 15, 2017. The prize distribution of this competition will be held on October 1, which also celebrated as International Day for Elderly People.
‘Athashri Foundation’ is a non-profitable and charitable organisation that work towards the social development of rural areas since many years. This organisation has also been working towards creating public awareness about education, health and cleanliness in rural areas. ASCOP is an organisation working for senior citizens towards helping them in living with dignity, happiness and empowering,creating awareness among them.
