Mumbai – After the arrest of a Sanatan Sanstha member by Maharashtra state anti-terrorism squad (ATS), the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said that it was like ‘Malegaon Part 2’.

The ATS raided house of Vaibhav Raut in Nalasopara area of Mumbai and seized explosives from his shop and eight country bombs from his house. The raid started on Thursday night and continued till Friday morning.

The breaking news since yesterday night is that Mr. Vaibhav Raut has been arrested from Nala Sopara, Mumbai. It is also mentioned in the news that Mr. Raut is a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha. Mr. Vaibhav Raut is a Gou-rakshak and was an active member of the organisation ‘Hindu Govansh Raksha Samiti’ which is devoted to protecting cows. He participated in programmes and agitations organised unitedly by Hindu organisations under the aegis of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti; however, Mr. Raut had not participated in any of the programmes since last few months, informs Mr. Sunil Ghanvat, Maharashtra and Chattisgarh State Organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The incidents of harassment of activists of Hindu organisations, and implicating them in false cases, etc. is not new any more. This has been proved through the Malegaon case, and arrest of innocent seekers of Sanatan Sanstha etc. This news has created doubts that whether the arrest of Mr. Vaibhav Raut is an instance of ‘Malegaon Part 2”, said Sunil Ghanvat, State Organiser, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Maharashtra.
