Displaced Kashmiri Pandits demand removal of Article 370 from Kashmir

Pune, 3rd September : Youth 4 Panun Kashmir (Y4PK), the Youth wing of Panun Kashmir, organized a massive protest along with civil and political class of Pune against ongoing continuous anti national subversive activities in Kashmir. The protest was supported by a blood donation camp for Army jawans fighting in Kashmir.

The protest marked the presence of all sections of society including hundreds of Kashmiri Hindus living in Pune along with a huge local support of Pune citizens and representations from all spheres of society including veteran members of socio political class. The protest witnessed large numbers of banners and placards displayed by young and old , men and women in support of Indian Army.

The highlight of the event was huge turnout of people who gave blood to support the jawans fighting against Jihadi forces in the Kashmir valley.

Highlighting the purpose of the protest, Mr Rahul Kaul National coordinator , Y4PK said that “ Not only from last 52 days it is from last 27 yrs. that the growing influence of fascist Islamic ideology in the state has engulfed the complete valley. This is driven by few radical and fascist anti- national elements , who are working under a well-planned agenda supported by Pakistan to break India and spread the venom of Jihadi Islam and common person is falling prey to it .”

Speaking on the occasion ,Sh. Sandeep Khardekar, Vice President BJP, Pune applauded the step  taken by Youth 4 Panun Kashmir towards creating the awareness amongst common citizens and assured that the issue of return of Kashmir Hindus shall be resolved by the Govt. at center as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri Hindus and present government will ensure that democratic fabric of this nation is maintained from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and across. He welcomed the Blood donation drive as a much needed gesture at the event.

“Shiv Sena as always is in total support of the aspiration of Kashmiri Hindus and is seriously  concerned about the increasing influence of militarized Pan Islamic fundamentalism in the entire Kashmir valley and parts of Jammu. The recent incidents in Kashmir valley should once again serve as an eye opener to the political class and the governments at the helms in the state and the Centre. We will keep on doing all that is needed to ensure that return and rehabilitation of the exiled  community is ensured at the earliest”, said Shyam Deshpande Pune Sanghathan Mantri of Shiv Sena. The Army & paramilitary forces in valley deserve all our support and Blood Donation is one such step , he said.

R.C. Sheopuri, President Kashmiri Hindu Sabha Pune emphasized that the new generation of the community yearns to visit their roots that have been the anchor of the community. It is a matter of time, if the community continues to live a life in exile; the community would cease to exist”….

The program concluded by vote of thanks by Rohit Bhat, Coordinator Maharashtra of Y4PK to all Guests, participants, Jan Kalyan Blood Bank and activists of Youth 4 Panun Kashmir and its well- wishers who were present on the occasion.
