Patit Pavan Sanghatana burn effigy of Asaduddin Owaisi
Pune: Members of Patit Pavan Sanghatana (PPS) on Wednesday protested againstAll India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi for his remarks against chanting the slogan ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai”.
Amid chanting of ‘Bharat me rahna hoga to mata ki jai kahna hoga’, the protesters beat Owaisi’s photo with slippers and shoes and then set his effigy on fire.
PPS members present on the occasion included Rajabhau Patil, Sitaram Khade, Shivajirao Chavan, Santosh Shendge, Amar Patil, Swapnil Naik, Manoj Pawar, Dhananjay Kshirsagar, Vishwash Manere, Amit (Appa) Sutar, Pravin Zhavar, Santosh Guru, Hemant Shirole, Nilesh (Bandu) Naik and others.
