Pune : Crime Branch nabs absconding robber after 7 years
Pune, August 23, 2019 : A team from Crime Branch unit 2 of Pune city police on today arrested an accused who was absconding for the last seven years. He had been evading arrest as he was living after changing his identity documents.
Acting on tip-off received by policemen Mohsin Shaikh and Yashwant Khandare, a team led by Police inspector Gajanan Pawar nabbed accused Suraj Jaichand Palkar alias Alim Babu Shaikh from the Rajiv Gandhi slum in Vishrantwadi.
He was wanted in a robbery case registered in Kondhwa in 2012.
