Pune : Swarm Of Bees Attack People During Ganesh Visarjan In Bhor, Multiple Injured
Bhor 25th Sept 2023: In a tragic incident reported at Hirdoshi village in Bhor, a swarm of bees attacked villagers during the ganesh visarjan near a dam. At least over 100 people were attacked by bees after many of them were performing pooja before immersing the ganesh idols.
According to officials, the incident took place near Nira Deoghar Dam at around 3:30 pm on Saturday when the devotees were performing pooja before the immersion. Villagers from Somjai Vasti, Haralicha Mal and Takicha Mal area of the Hirdoshi village immerse their idols at the incident spot. The children, women and senior citizens were also present at the time of bee attack and all of them sustained injuries.
The incident led to chaos all over the village as people were running to save themselves from the bee attack. Soon after the swarm of bees left the spot, the injured were rushed to the primary health care center for treatment and the majority of them were immediately discharged by the doctors by providing primary treatment.
