10 Flights Affected Due To Low Visibility At Pune Airport Today Morning

Viman Nagar, 5th December 2021: Due to fog there was low visibility at Pune airport today morning which resulted in the diversion of two flights while many others are delayed. AI-851 Delhi to Pune and UK-971 Delhi to Pune have been diverted to Mumbai.
There was nil visibility at 6 am and by 9 am the visibility improved to 400 meters.
Earlier Pune airport had tweeted, “There is low visibility at Pune due to fog. Current visibility is below 100m. As a result all flights are delayed for the next few hours. All passengers travelling from #PuneAirport are requested to check flight timings with their Airlines.”
9.24 am: Pune Airport updated -Visibility is improving. Departures are expected in the next one hour.
10.24 am: Visibility has improved. Flights have started landing and taking off.
Speaking to PunekarNews.in, Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke said, “Since 4 am today, about 11 flights are affected due to low visibility.”
