100% Attendance Compulsory For SSC And HSC Class Teachers In Maharashtra

Pune, 16th June 2021: The State Education director Dattatrye Jagtap has directed the teachers teaching for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher School Certificate (HSC) to have 100% attendance for the academic year 2021-22. While teachers teaching for standard 9th and 11th should have 50% attendance.

The order also mentions 100% attendance for primary, secondary and junior colleges along with the non-teaching staff. Currently, the evaluation for SSC and HSC results is going on and thus the teachers must be present in the school.

Jagtap also mentioned in his order that the teachers from secondary schools and junior colleges from the Mumbai region will get the instructions regarding travelling in the local trains. Although the schools are closed due to Covid-19, as per the guidelines issued by Maharashtra State Educational Research and Training Institute, the teachers should ensure that students are getting an online education.
