1,000 Indian Employees To Be Left Unemployed Due To Amazon’s Layoffs

New Delhi, 7th January 2023: People throughout the world, have been impacted by Amazon’s huge layoffs. Amidst this, the company has stated that the job cuts will continue.

Now, it is revealed stated that the e-commerce giant’s decision to fire 18,000 individuals globally will result in the unemployment of 1,000 people in India.

The layoffs will affect 1% of Amazon’s workforce in India, which has one lakh employees.

As part of its largest-ever layoffs, Amazon will reduce its staff across all departments. Amazon has joined other major tech companies in this practice.
