1000 women to LPG cylinder under Ujjwala scheme – Siddharth Shirole

Pune – The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) is an integral part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government, that gives LPG cylinder to the financially weaker family as well as the lady of that family, said MP Anil Shirole.

He was speaking during free gas connection program organized in ward no. 14 by Swayambhu Foundation. Corporator Siddharth Shirole, who is also the founder of the Swayambhu Foundation, corporator Swati Lokhande, BJP Pune city vice president Dattabhau Khade and Ujjwala scheme officer Angha Gadre were also present on the occassion.

“A total of 1000 women in Ward No. 14 will get gas connection under this scheme and 100 women have been allocated in the first phase. 100 more families have got the connection today,” said corporator Siddharth Shirole.

Industrialists Manish Jain, Hitesh Jain as well as Kapil Gandhi, Ritesh Agarwal provided financial assistance of Rs 3500 each for the 100 connections. Corporator Siddharth Shirole said soon Ward no. 14 will be made Kerosene free.
