1078 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1162 Discharged Today
Pune, 11th July 2021: A total of 1078 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1162 people were discharged from hospitals. 12 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,573 active patients in the district and 5848 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4725 are in home isolation. Out of 1078 new cases, 287 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 214 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 93 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments, and 472 in rural areas.
Among the 12 deaths, five were in PMC, two in PCMC, and five in rural areas. Out of 1162 discharged patients, 228 were in PMC, 250 were in PCMC, 116 in municipal councils, 18 in cantonments, and 550 in rural areas.
