1192 new COVID patients in Pune city, 1312 discharged today

Pune, Aug 4, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1312 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1192 new patients were detected while 28 people died today. Today swab samples of 5595 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 59,496 out of which 41,251 have been cured while 1412 have died. There are still 16,833 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 656 critical patients out of which 404 are on ventilator support.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 24311 out of which 17106 have been cured while 408 have died. 3783 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 316 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 97 have died and 1065 have been cured.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,855,745 across the country. Out of this, 1,230,509 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 38,938 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 586,298 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
