11th Admission Online Application Deadline Extended: Maharashtra Students Get Extra Time to Lock Part 2 Forms

Mumbai, 6th June 2025: Students awaiting 11th standard admissions in Maharashtra who have not yet locked Part 2 of their online application can breathe a sigh of relief. The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Department has announced that applicants who have already locked Part 1 of their form but are yet to fill or lock Part 2 now have until Saturday, June 7, 12:30 PM to complete the process.
The centralized online admission process for junior colleges across Maharashtra had initially set the application window from May 26 to June 5. By Thursday, 1,129,924 students had successfully filled out both parts of the application form. However, the department observed that many students had not locked Part 2 of their application, prompting this extension and a public advisory to students and parents.
Students who have registered for the 11th admission process and locked Part 1 but have yet to complete Part 2 are urged to fill and lock their preferences before the new deadline. Failure to lock Part 2 will result in applications being excluded from the provisional merit list and the first regular admission round at junior colleges.
The department has clarified that students who have already locked Part 2 will not be able to change their preferences during this period. For those who have not yet registered online, have incomplete applications, or missed the deadline for locking Part 1, fresh opportunities to fill both parts of the application will be available at the start of each new admission round. The department assures that all new applicants will have a chance to participate in subsequent rounds by completing and locking their forms within the specified timeframes.
