1387 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1345 Discharged Today
Pune, 3rd July 2021: A total of 1387 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1345 people were discharged from hospitals. 12 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,309 active patients in the district and 5806 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4503 are in home isolation. Out of 1387 new cases, 344 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 392 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 81 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 18 in cantonments and 552 in rural areas.
Among the 12 deaths, Seven were in PMC, two in PCMC, and three in rural areas. Out of 1345 discharged patients, 283 were in PMC, 415 were in PCMC, 56 in municipal councils, and 591 in rural areas.
