13th Convocation Ceremony of Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM)
Pune, 16 April 2023: The 13th Convocation ceremony of Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) was organized on Sunday. Dr. Subhash Sarkar,Union Minister of State for Education, Iqbal Singh Lalpura , Chairman of National Commission for Minorities, New Delhi along with Bharat Bhushan Singh Director PIBM, Raman Preet, Chairman PIBM were present on the occasion. Guests of honour included Umesh Revenkar, Executive VP Shriram Finance, Nikhil Mathur,MD Growth from Knowledge, Sudip Bandopadhyay, Arkadeb Chakraborty, Sanjeev Dayal among others .
Chief Guest Dr Subhas Sarkar, Minister of State for Education, while delivering his address to the gathering said, “Every student receiving the degrees today, should follow the institution’s philosophy “Arise, Awake! And Stop Not Until the Goal is Reached”. This phase of your lives that all of you are now entering could be both fulfilling and exciting and at the same time even challenging.
Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of National Commission for Minorities said that developing overall personality, knowledge , commitment to hard work, having a clear vision , being solution oriented and honesty is the key to success . We should all work together towards Nation Building.
Around 600 students including PGDM and MBA program of 2022 were conferred degrees at the ceremony. Students from various courses were honoured for academic excellence.
Raman Preet , Chairman PIBM said that this a batch which studied in the covid era and so is special .We navigated through these tough times due to the hard work and support from students , their parents and our faculty and administration members .
