1416 new COVID patients detected in Pune city, 15 deaths

Pune, July 15, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 746 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1416 new patients were detected while 15 patients died (see below). Today swab samples of 6343 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 30,523 out of which 19,570 have been cured while 889 have died. There are still 10064 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 502 critical patients out of which 76 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 8603 out of which 5235 have been cured while 143 have died. 1957 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 256 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 45 non-PCMC residents have died while 422 have been cured.

 

Maharashtra State Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 2,75,640. Today, newly 7975 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 3606 patients have been cured today. Till now 1,52,613 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals while there are still 1,11,801 active patients in the state. Today, 233 people died taking the total deaths to 10928 till now.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 936181 across the country. Out of this, 592031 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 24309 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 319840 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
