1479 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, Check Area wise Case Fatality Rate And Recovery Rate

Pune, 30 June 2021: A total of 1479 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 812 people were discharged from hospitals. 17 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9976 active patients in the district and 5647 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4329 are in home isolation. Out of 1479 new cases, 508 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 282 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 129 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), seven in cantonments and 553 in rural areas.

 

Among the 17 deaths, five were in PMC, three in PCMC, one in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), one in cantonments and seven in rural areas. Out of 812 discharged patients, 266 were in PMC, 49 were in PCMC, 58 in municipal councils, 11 in cantonments, and 428 in rural areas.
